Have you been Bonvoyed?

Received a confirmed upgrade email. Than called the hotel to reconfirm. The night before arrival I received another email stating I had been downgraded. I called Las Alcobas, and they claimed it was an error by Marriott. So I called Marriott and they claimed Las Alcobas was the culprit. Nevertheless, I'm feeling the same stress each business trip I take. The excuses and finger pointing is a disgrace. For the first time in 15 yrs, I'm actively searching for other hotel brands.
