Complaints for: Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Downtown/Las Olas

    Booked a stay for March, arriving on a Monday, hoping to check out on Saturday. Could not get a response from the manager to allow me to stay for the 5th night free. Did some investigating and found that EVERY Friday and Saturday was blocked for reward stay even though there was hotel availability for the 5th night. We ultimately stayed there for 4 nights and had to use another 35000 points to stay somewhere else. To add insult to injury, even though our portfolio for the 4 nights said $0 upon checkout, our credit card was still charged $65.00. It has been over 6 weeks and we STILL do not have reimbursement. I have had multiple calls and email to the property and Customer Service. The property didn't even initially respond to Marriott Customer Service. Apparently our charge was a "glitch" in their system but it's ridiculous that we still do not have reimbursement after all this time.
